Medicine and Materials
Date: Wednesday the 5th and Thursday the 6th of July 2017
Venue: Museum of the History of Science, the Oxford University Chemistry Department and the Oxford University Botanic Garden
Audience: Year 9 and 10 students
Medicine and Materials is a hands on study day for students at the Museum of the History of Science, the Oxford University Chemistry Department and the Oxford University Botanic Garden. There will be workshops at each location covering the discovery of penicillin, synthesis and separation and plant use in medicine.

Materials and Chemistry Day
Date: Thursday 13th July
Venue: Material Science and Chemistry Departments
Audience: Year 10 students
A collaborative event with Materials Science for Yr10 students. The day will include a lecture and labs exploring the chemical and physical properties of polymers and modelling and testing properties of metal alloys.
